I’ve been perusing the forums lately and I stumbled across a thread in Affiliate Marketing Forum about Article Marketing. I was intrigued and read the whole thread. I’d like to share with you some of the comments:

“I have been using article marketing for a little while now and have had pretty good success with it.

I have had my articles downloaded a couple of hundred times form the various article directories. I get a decent amount of traffic from the article directories themselves and I have had some traffic from the downloaded articles as well.

Plus I have had a jump in my ranking for my less competitive keywords that I am targeting. I have not been doing anything else for these keyword so I assume it is the article marketing. That traffic converts at a higher rate than other traffic, so it has been pretty good so far.”

There was also a discussion about the Duplicate Content issue. I can tell you for a fact that this isn’t as big an issue as some would think. But that’s fodder for my next post.

But what I’d like to point out from this comment is the fact that traffic from the Article Directories CONVERTS BETTER than traffic from other sources! This is a significant reason to use Article Marketing as a serious method of website promotion.
