Mar 31st, 2009 | By CJ | Category: Article MarketingI HATE article spinners! As the owner of QualityArticles.com, you can imagine how many crappy articles I got that had been run thru some of the free–but crappy–spinners out there.
That’s not to say that article spinning doesn’t work. I’ve heard good reviews about paid services like ContentBoss and such.
The problem is that these free spinners are mostly nothing but synonym replacers.
I once got an article that had this sentence: “It is about the underarm of service.” That’s the kind of crap that pissed me off. Spun articles like that were grounds for immediate rejection, and a warning letter. If the habit kept up, the author would lose his membership, as well. I had to do it that way, because so many people use article submitters, and would not, likely, notice that I had rejected their article. The sudden inability to log in would eventually get their attention.
Well, as some of you know, QualityArticles.com is no more. I experienced a move and lost access to the database. It’s a problem I COULD fix if the damn script was not encoded with IonCube (I hate IonCube). No one is around to support the script anymore, so, I guess it’s time to revamp the site entirely.
I’m thinking about making it a private membership for –say it with me–Quality Articles. DOH! LOL!
Anyway… I’m always on the lookout for free stuff. And since so many use those crappy spinners, I’m always looking for one that’s actually good that I can recommend to these people.
Up until now, I never found one. But, as of yesterday, that has changed! Hurrah!
Admittedly, with Chris’s Rewriter, there is a significant amount of up front work that needs to be done. Not difficult work, just a lot of it. BUT… that work will net you upwards of 1500 articles!!!!! It’s definitely worth the time to set it up!
I ran an experiment with the Rewriter. I combined 2 PLR articles, did all the necessary upfront work, created 3 (didn’t need 1500!) articles and ran them thru copyscape.com. Not one of them brought back any results!
The next phase will be to submit to eZineArticles.com over a 3-4 day period and see what happens. I’ll let you know!
