Hosting costs are quite affordable and you should be able to get this for less than nine bucks a month.WordPress is free and many hosts offer it as part of their hosting packages, which you could build your site on. Building your site with content after installing a nice theme on your WordPress installation is not very difficult to do.

The more difficult part of your website campaign will be getting traffic to it. But, you love to write so you could find other websites like blogs that are related to books aimed at children, and submit articles to them. Although you won’t likely get paid for those articles, you will most likely get a valuable back link to your website.

Consider submitting articles to article directories such as EzineArticles.com. When using the “resource box,” instead of describing yourself, use it as a call to action to click on a link you provide, which will take the reader to your website.

There are a number of ideas that you could use to come up with articles. What about an article on how you write a book from the idea, through the writing stages to completion? If you published your own book, write an article about how you did it. If your book is on a particular subject, you could submit articles on that topic and ask the readers to visit your website for more information.

Slowly, the transition is being made from the traditional book publishing model to a different model where technology and resources for the individual are less expensive. You could be a part of this transition by finally getting down to work and with a little research, put your story in front of the little eyes that will be delighted to hear or read it.
