Most online entrepreneurs squander their time hunting one trend to another, be it SEO, social marketing, press releases, etc. Of course, I am not claiming those things are entirely a waste of time. If accomplished right and in the appropriate circumstance, they’re all extremely effective. However, lacking a proper basis, they’re merely that – marketing methods. By themselves, they do not make any sort of profits without this skill.

But despite the importance of copywriting, most web marketers are disregarding it. The phrase “get more traffic” for instance, is searched for, in the search engines, a lot more than “copywriting” or “increase conversion”.

You should know by now that increased traffic is not the way out. Most traffic driving tactics necessitate money. To drive lots of traffic requires lots of money. If none of those traffic converts, you’ll soon find yourself going penniless – just like many folks did.
