Review – Online Business Blueprint
Dec 8th, 2008 | By CJ | Category: ReviewsAnd since most newbies start out broke, like I did, I am constantly in search of good, FREE resources. I bet I can tell you where to find almost ANY product you need to help you, for FREE, somewhere on the Internet. If you need it, I can almost guarantee, SOMEONE is giving it away somewhere!
Well, I was out cruising the Web today and came across this little gem, the Online Business Blueprint. I read through it thoroughly and have decided to post a review about it. If I like something, I like to share it. And I LIKE this report!
For one thing, it’s only 8 pages long. Now, that’s sounds like it might not cover all the bases. But, trust me, it does! Being a blueprint, it lays out from the first step to the last step, exactly what one needs to do to get going in a new online business. Last step? Actually, there never is a last step to operating an online business, but you know what I mean.
This is no 300 page Bible. That’s a good thing, because most readers won’t read an entire document if it looks like it’s going to take forever and give them a headache in the process. 8 pages is a good jumping off point.
The downside is that, while the elements are outlined, they aren’t explained in great detail. I would like to have seen a little more information about some of the tougher elements—tougher for newbies, that is, who’ve never done some of this work. Things like installing a blog, or creating content. Not that this should end up being a 300 page Bible, as would be necessary to do this, but perhaps some links to some helpful articles on those tougher subjects would be good.
Having said that, at the end of pertinent chapters, there are linked resources to some of the basic needs—web hosting, domain registration, payment gateways, etcetera. These are very nice to have, although, as mentioned, a little more explanation, I think would be in order.
Of course, the persistent and determined newbie will find this a great way to figure out what he needs to investigate and learn about next, and so, for that reason, I highly recommend this free report! I give this report a 9.75/10 for it’s good work of explaining what needs to happen to be successful at this business.

Hi CJ,
Thanks for your honest review. It is true that it’s not into much details as I try to give an overview of the Internet business trend. Blogging, this CMS application, is becoming more and more popular, exponentially. There’s a lot to learn and adapt to continuously with the rapid-changing world of technology. There is already a lot of resources out there on things like how to create a blog. The blueprint is written short and straight-to-the-point on the concept of an modern Internet business structure. I am simply delivering a message to people saying “Hey, blogging is the way to go!” leaving the research and learning to motivated, dedicated, and self-starter entrepreneurs who wish to start their Internet business journey
Thanks for the reply, Aaron! Well, you certainly did a great job of it!
I thought you did well. Bit high in parts and a bit quick in parts but otherwise easy to listen too.
I have some html code for an audio but can’t get it to show up on my blog. Any tips?
I used Freecorder to record (I already had a microphone) and Adobe FlashPlayer is the app I used to post the audio on the site, complete with its play button. It’s a free app from Adobe
(As I’ve mentioned elsewhere in this blog, I AM the Queen of finding great FREE stuff! LOL!).
Thanks for listening and offering your .02! I appreciate it!

P.S. for others just reading, I posted an mp3 at the beginning of this post, where I am reading the post. It’s my first audio and I’m “testing the waters” to see if this is the kind of thing I want to get into. If you have an opinion or suggestion, I’d love to hear it!
Have taken the audio down. Note to self in:re another one of those “to-do” items on my list: Learn effective speaking. LOL.
